Workshops
I speak to scientists, founders, technical teams, and innovation programs working at the point where complex ideas need to become real decisions, products, pilots, or companies.
My talks and workshops are grounded in firsthand experience across science, deep tech, AI, and startup building. They are practical, specific, and designed around the problems technical teams actually face.
Workshops
From Science to Startup
For universities, accelerators, and research programs.
How to move from an interesting technical idea to a problem worth solving, evidence worth trusting, and a concrete next step.
Building Beyond the Science
For technical founders and deep-tech teams.
The parts of company-building strong technology does not solve: customers, pilots, pricing, partnerships, ownership, and operating priorities.
Making Decisions Before the Evidence Is Complete
For founders, scientists, operators, and technical leaders.
How to separate evidence from assumption, identify what actually matters, and move when waiting has a cost.

Keynote: Reading the water
A keynote built from more than a decade of environmental DNA science, fieldwork, and company building.
In field science, the evidence is rarely perfect. Replicates disagree. Sampling windows close. Conditions change. At some point, you still have to decide what the evidence supports and what to do next.
The same problem shows up in companies.
This talk explores what scientific work can teach us about judgment, uncertainty, and making consequential decisions when the picture is incomplete.
